Machines in Motion Inc. policy

Machines in Motion Inc. work directly with each customer to provide the optimum machine or CNC control purchasing experience. We are open to including certain changes that meet your specific financial needs.
Unless otherwise stated on our quotation, all prices for machinery or related options are priced FOB Pomona California and all prices for CNC controls or related options are priced FOB the origin which could be Howard PA. or Fullerton CA.
CNC controls are custom built by Centroid Corp. per the control build sheets assembled and approved by both the control upgrade project coordinator and Machines in Motion Inc. technical staff. The manufacture requires a 50% deposit in their hands before they enter your control order into their system. Centroid Corp. maintains complete control over all control unlock codes. Centroid Corp. will not release these codes before receiving full payment for the product or software option. This may require additional time as the end user pays his dealer, who then pays Machines in Motion Inc., who then pays Centroid Corp., where payment is finally processed.

All controls are installed and shipped with a demo unlock of limited time. While using your control under Demo mode you will have access to all options and features available and applicable to your machine tool. Each day at 12:00am your control will count down another day of Demo mode. The days remaining are displayed on-screen as the operator begins work for that day. Days of use related to demo mode are counted as any day where the control has been operated. In the event that your machine runs out of Demo time before all payments have been processed Machines in Motion Inc. can issue a second 10 days demo unlock code. It is our goal to keep your machine productive at all times.

CNC controls and related parts or options can not be shipped before payment is received or other financial arraignments have been made.
Every CNC control installation purchased from Machines in Motion Inc. includes on-site basic control use training. If the user/operator is inexperienced in CNC operation it is suggested that additional training time be arranged for. Basic control use training is limited to 4 man hours. Basic control use training is offered for no more than 3 people at one time. Machines in Motion Inc. may choose to provide control installation or support time or other requested services by contracting with qualified technical support company that is better situated to economically handle the required service.

It is customary and specifically included here, that any and all old control components removed during a CNC control upgrade project become the property of Machines in Motion Inc. Machines in Motion Inc. may, at our discretion,  remove and/or ship these components off site. Any components not removed or where no arrangements for their removal have been made will become the property of the original machine/control owner.
Travel time by roadway begins at the point of departure and ends upon arrival at the job site. Travel time by commercial airlines is calculated by actual time in route via air travel plus 1.5 hours (to cover time on ground), for each one way direction of travel. Travel time which extends beyond our quoted estimates, due to inaccurate information during the quotation process, will be billed at 50% of our normal rate of $100.00/hour. On Site technical support time involving items or issues not originally considered nor written into our original quotation will be billed at 80% of our normal on-site service rate of $120.00/hour. This discounted technical time is offered by Machines in Motion Inc. only. Service time extending beyond one day portal to portal will incur a daily fee of 190.00  per overnight stay. Some areas of the country may be higher.
